In Sevilla, along Calle Alemans, stands La Puerta del Perdón, the Door of Forgiveness that leads into the Court of Oranges, an enclosed grove of bitter orange trees, a remnant of the 12 century Almohad Mosque. Through the door the heady scent of orange trees intertwines with the holy resins of myrrh and frankincense.
